This site-specific work was created at the 3 Goldens Convenience Store in Sundown, New York. Using sand washed on-site from Hurricane Irene, the work was drawn from stories of the land owners experiences of the storm which nearly destroyed the store.
This work is part of a project with Catskill Waters, an organization working with artists as bridge-builders, bringing together different communities and drawing attention to the complex relationship between people and the land.
The project also included a podcast documenting the work.
